Senator Plummer to talk news and developments out of the capitol

SPRINGFIELD – April 9, 2019 – State Senator Jason Plummer (R-Edwardsville) is opening his new district office to members of the media in Senate District 54 for a private tour and debrief on various news and happenings in Springfield.

What: Media Open House and Debrief

When: Wednesday, April 17, 2-2:45 p.m.

Where: 310 W. Gallatin St., Vandalia, Ill.

Senator Plummer will touch on legislation circulating in the Illinois General Assembly such as minimum wage, the proposed income tax increase, gun control, and the legalization of marijuana. He will also share insights into the passage of legislation he is sponsoring. The media open house will promptly start at 2 p.m. Any members of the media who cannot attend are welcome to schedule a phone interview at a later date.
