Due to confusion and fear over the controversial SAFE-T Act, especially changes to the bail system that start on January 1st, Senator Plummer scheduled two town halls in his district to help constituents get answers from law enforcement officials.
On October 26th, he held a town hall in Vandalia, where people had the chance to ask questions and offer comments to the Senator, as well as Fayette County Sheriff David Russell and State’s Attorney Joshua Morrison.
On November 1st, Senator Plummer will host another Town Hall in Edwardsville, featuring Madison County State’s Attorney Thomas Haine and Madison County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jeff Connor.
